NPHT Data Preprocessing
Okay, I’m pretty much finished with preprocessing the entire NPHT dataset into the format required by World Wind. Very cool. This means I’m making good progress towards integrating my landscape rendering shader with WW and the NPHT data.
Now I ‘only’ need to create the combined elevation data, and everything’s set. Unfortunately it’s not that easy, because I want to build this data on the fly within World Wind, which does not (yet) support this kind of stuff. However once I’ve fixed the download manager in the current development version of WW, this will be easy to add.
