Winter hike to the Krummbachstein mountain

Did a nice winter hike with Alexandra today, from Kaiserbrunn to the Krummbachstein peak. Thanks to the incredible amounts of fresh snow and the rather unpleasant weather we turned around before reaching the top, but it was still a great hike.

Skitag am Hochkar

War heute mit einigen Kollegen frecherweise nicht im Büro, sondern am Hochkar. Am Vormittag war das Wetter noch etwas unfreundlich und neblig, aber nach der etwas vorgezogenen Mittagspause war’s dann einfach nur noch traumhaft. Some may be complaining about the ‘bad weather’, but not us: virgin powder snow at the Unterberg ski resort! The slightly adverse sun position made for somewhat dark images; I like them anyway, but see for yourself …
