Unfortunately the bike path only seemed to be wet in some places, when it was actually black ice… no problem when you see it, but when it’s indiscernible from wet surfaces that do provide traction, Bad Things happen. Not too bad for myself, just some minor road rash and a slightly beaten ego, but my laptop did suffer some ugly damage…

After many years of ThinkPad happiness I still made the jump this time.. since the configuration isn’t quite standard (4GB RAM, 1900×1200 high-res display, US Keyboard instead of German, etc.) I’ll have to wait a while until this baby will be delivered, but that’s okay…
