[lang_de]bei meinen überlegungen zum optimalen datum für die post-doc party hat sich folgendes ergeben: mit dem rigorosum ist eigentlich noch nix offiziell; ganz ehrlich und echt bin ich erst doktor wenn ich die promotion hatte bzw. den bescheid vom dekanat abgeholt hab – das wird ungefähr 3-4 wochen nach dem rigorosum sein. und nachdem ich bei der party eigentlich schon mit der urkunde angeben will wird sich die feier noch ein bissl nach hinten verschieben…
aber vielleicht passiert nach dem rigorosum schon mal was ‘kleines’ …[/lang_de][lang_en]My considerations regarding the best date for the post-doc party have lead to one very important insight: nothing is really official after the defense, it’s after the promotion (or whenever I’ve picked up the document from the deanery) that I am really a doctor. That’ll be about 3 or 4 weeks after the defense. And since I think it’d be nice to show off the document at the party I’ll probably shift it a bit backwards…
But maybe something ‘small’ and inofficial will happen shortly after the defense…[/lang_en]
