I’ve implemented a flash application that allows you to interactively compare the lap times of 24h and 12h solo riders and the 24h teams. It is far from perfect and still a bit slow, but I think it’s going in the right direction. Check it out after the break…

A while ago I announced that I was planning to participate at the Ultraman World Championships as a Fundraiser for Médecins sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders). Since then, I have been thinking about ways to organize this and ensure that it would actually be a success.

This was my first race with the Mountainbiker Racing Team, and even though our primary goal was to play it safe, of course we were willing to see how far we could get. We entered as a mixed relay team: Isa Höller, Jimmy Steiner, Lukas Salzer and myself. There weren’t any mixed classifications, so we ended up racing in the men’s division… but who cared? Not us.
